Old Fashion Ice Cream’s beginning took place in October of 1988. It all began as a part time fun thing that turned into a full time business. We joined an antique engine club, where members get very creative with working their engines. We decided to belt our engine to an ice cream churn and make homemade ice cream for the club members. This started a chain reaction that has not stopped for 22 years. The majority of Old Fashion Ice Cream’s business is simply hear say.
We started with a basic recipe that was used by the family, and during the 22 years taste tested several adjustments until it’s become the best it can be. We carry 4 flavors, Vanilla and Chocolate, of course, a fruit flavor either Strawberry or Blueberry, and also a nut flavor either Butter Pecan or Walnut. We also carry Root Beer Floats; we use IBC Root Beer only…the reason is our taste tests…IBC won hands down being the best.
With the start of Old Fashion Ice Cream, Inc. we also started collecting many ice cream antiques and memorabilia…and have some of the rarest ice cream equipment. We at times use our collections as a backdrops or props. Just ask we probably have exactly what you’re looking for.
We’ve experienced several shows and festivals with upward of thousands in attendance and we take pride in providing quick, yet complimentary service.
